Construct
- Reaction Effects
After an action is declared, all relevant decisions for that action made, and costs for that action paid (“I am casting this spell into this tile by Resting this character and these 3 mana sources” or “I am moving this character into this tile, using up their Move Action), your opponent gets an opportunity to declare a Reaction effect.
The first action is paused, all decisions for the Reaction made (“I’ll use this card to move this character here and I want the Soul effect”), costs for the Reaction paid (“I rest this character, these 2 mana crystals and flip this Soul”), then effect of the Reaction happens.
If the reaction invalidates any part of the effect of the first action, those effects do not occur.
Decisions made and costs paid are not rewound. There is no window to React to a Reaction or Triggered Effects. You cannot React to your own Actions. - Search Effects
If an effect says to search your deck for a specific card (example: a spell or summon), then before adding that card to your hand you must reveal it to each opponent to ensure you’ve met the search conditions prior to shuffling your deck.
